AI Strategy Delivery Lead – Retail – Strategy & Consulting

About the role

The AI Strategy Delivery Lead will shape and drive enterprise‑wide AI transformation programmes for retail clients within Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting practice. You will translate high‑level business roadmaps into actionable AI strategies, delivery frameworks and operational models that leverage generative AI, large language models and advanced analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and lead end‑to‑end AI transformation programmes from visioning through scaling to full business operations.
• Engage C‑suite and senior client stakeholders to identify strategic AI opportunities, develop business cases and define success metrics.
• Define AI‑powered operating models, governance frameworks, organisational readiness plans and change‑management strategies.
• Design solution mixes that include generative AI/LLMs, retrieval‑augmented workflows (RAG), agentic automation and advanced data architecture while addressing risk, privacy and ethical considerations.
• Estimate cost models and business viability of AI/LLM usage patterns, guiding technology sourcing and vendor partnerships.
• Establish reusable delivery frameworks, solution patterns and components to accelerate AI execution across clients.
• Lead cross‑functional teams spanning strategy, design, architecture, engineering, data science and delivery, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience leading AI strategy or delivery programmes, preferably within the retail sector.
• Proven ability to engage and influence C‑suite executives.
• Strong business acumen with experience building investment cases and measuring AI value.
• Leadership skills to mentor, resource‑plan and manage multidisciplinary teams.
