Yard Labourer - Logistics & Material Handling

About the Position

Join TF Truckload & Logistics, a leading full truckload carrier, as a dedicated Yard Labourer at our Edmonton site. This is a vital role designed to support our core logistics operations and yard efficiency through the precise movement and management of tubular products and other essential materials.

Main Missions

• Execute the efficient loading and unloading of tubular pipes onto flatbed trailers.
• Perform accurate inventory counts and conduct rigorous quality inspections of materials.
• Manage the physical movement and handling of various yard materials.
• Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Perform diverse yard maintenance tasks to ensure operational excellence.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience of 2 to 3 years specifically in handling tubular products.
• Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for the duration of the shift.
• Resilience: Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Forklift operation.
• Loader operation experience (a significant asset).
• Strong attention to detail for inventory and quality control.
• Knowledge of logistics safety protocols.
• Material handling expertise.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position: Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM.
• Opportunities for overtime available to support peak operations.
