About the role

As a Wind Site Technician I at Vestas in Moncton, you will ensure the smooth operation of wind turbines by performing maintenance, troubleshooting and system repairs. You will contribute to delivering clean, reliable energy to local communities while developing your skills in the renewable energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team with basic mechanical installations, repairs and upgrades of wind turbines.
• Follow safety protocols and conduct safety inspections.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work activities and continuously improve operational processes.
• Accurately time‑code all work to track task duration and efficiency.

Required profile

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s licence.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Physically fit, able to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable using tools, following detailed procedures and working in a collaborative environment.
• Curious, motivated and eager to grow in the wind energy field.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical installation and repair skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and conduct inspections.
• Proficiency in documenting work and using time‑coding systems.
