Wellness Ambassador

About the role

The Wellness Ambassador supports the Desautels Faculty of Management’s wellness initiatives by helping plan, promote, and deliver health‑focused events and communications for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in existing wellness activities and help develop new programs.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, setting up, hosting, and following up on wellness events.
• Create and curate content for the faculty’s wellness Instagram account.
• Deliver public presentations to raise awareness of campus wellness resources.
• Support the Resilience and Wellness (RAW) committee with minutes, event organization, and report preparation.
• Gather wellness‑related materials and produce promotional assets.
• Serve as a liaison between the faculty and students or external partners to provide information on wellness services.

Required profile

• Passionate about health promotion and student wellbeing.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in group work and event organization.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with McGill student resources and Desautels programs is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Canva for creating posters and promotional material.
• Comfort with Instagram and other social‑media platforms for content creation.
