Webcast Facilitator (Part‑time, Graduate Student)

About the role
The Webcast Facilitator supports the Communications & Production unit by managing webcast scheduling, staffing, and delivery of media assets for Schulich School of Music concerts. This part‑time role is designed for a graduate student in the Sound Recording program.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a database of webcast schedules, including concert details, timing, location and staff assignments.
- Coordinate staffing levels based on the webcast schedule and ensure payroll documentation.
- Attend production meetings related to webcasts as required.
- Transfer media assets from the local server to clients.
- Perform other administrative duties supporting webcast production.
Required profile
- High School Diploma with at least two years of related experience.
- Full working knowledge of Schulich School of Music concert halls, audio and video equipment.
- Completed MUPD‑204 and/or MUPD‑205 courses or equivalent knowledge.
- Ability to work independently, meet strict timelines and communicate effectively in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Macintosh computers.
- Familiarity with Unix navigation and MLAPS file‑system commands.
- Basic networking knowledge.
- Experience handling audio and video equipment for live events.
What we offer
- Hourly wage of $17.17 (AMUSE collective agreement).
- Flexible part‑time schedule (approximately 9 hours per week).
