Warehouse Receiving Clerk

About the role

The Warehouse Receiving Clerk supports daily warehouse operations at Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District mine, concentrating on inbound material processing and Goods Receipt (GR) transactions in SAP. The position ensures that all supplies arriving at the site are accurately received, verified, and recorded, maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting procurement, accounts payable, and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound materials, matching them to purchase orders and applying the correct SAP movement types.
• Enter Goods Receipt transactions in SAP promptly and resolve any discrepancies before posting.
• Maintain complete and accurate supporting documentation for audit and control purposes.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and safe material handling procedures.
• Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to warehouse compliance standards.
• Experience in a mining or industrial warehouse environment is preferred.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP system) for inventory and Goods Receipt processing.
