Warehouse Person

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Warehouse Person is responsible for efficiently assembling customer orders, loading them onto trucks, receiving inventory from suppliers, and restocking returns. The role supports daily warehouse operations in a fast‑paced building‑materials environment.

Key responsibilities

• Unload building‑material supplies from delivery trucks and place them correctly in the warehouse.
• Pick and assemble customer orders accurately and safely.
• Process receiving tallies and packing slips promptly.
• Assist customers by loading orders onto delivery trucks.
• Conduct spot inventory counts and restock returned items.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse while following safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of warehouse experience, familiar with order‑picking processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly and up to 85 lb occasionally.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and reach throughout the shift.
• Own steel‑toed boots.
• Certification for counterbalance forklift operation is an asset.
• General knowledge of building‑materials is preferred.
