Warehouse Operator – Shipping & Receiving

About the role

Sandvik Mining is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join its Winnipeg facility. The role focuses on timely and accurate shipping, receiving and distribution of materials supporting the company’s mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, unload trucks and verify incoming materials.
• Store items in designated locations and maintain accurate warehouse location system.
• Process sales orders, invoices and prepare export documentation as required.
• Support cycle counting, physical inventory and manage shipping supplies inventory.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements and handle vendor inventory transactions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work safely as part of an integrated team.
• Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Self‑motivated, flexible and able to manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
