Warehouse Clerk

About the role

The Warehouse Clerk at Batimat ensures smooth warehouse operations, from receiving high‑end plumbing fixtures to preparing shipments and supporting customers during order pickups. The role combines physical handling, inventory control, and administrative tasks to maintain accuracy and quality throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, verify product codes, inspect items, and record details in the system.
• Perform weekly inventory checks, identify and correct discrepancies.
• Place goods in designated locations, update system data, and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Welcome and assist customers picking up orders and coordinate with transport carriers.
• Prepare orders for dispatch, package and label products, and process carrier delivery notes.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and courteous with a strong team spirit.
• Good physical condition for lifting and long periods of standing.
• Detail‑oriented, agile, patient and able to follow instructions.
• Quick learner who can become autonomous after training.
• Motivated, adaptable and able to handle high‑volume periods.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (certification is an asset, training provided).
