Warehouse Attendant (Casual)

About the role

The Warehouse Attendant (Casual) supports daily warehouse operations at PHSA in Langley, BC. You will handle order picking, stock rotation, and maintain accurate records while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick orders using computer systems or handheld devices, count items, edit electronic pick lists and pack orders for shipment.
• Enter edited data into the warehouse computer system as required.
• Retrieve stock from designated inventory locations and perform stock rotation according to guidelines.
• Unpack received shipments and replenish stock to assigned locations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse area, removing waste materials in line with safety standards and CSA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls, file documents, and retrieve data from the computer system.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Grade 10 education with at least six months of recent warehouse experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks safely.
• Commitment to Indigenous reconciliation principles as outlined by the TRC (2015) and BC’s Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
