Warehouse Associate – Shipper & Receiver

About the role

Join Demetres' central kitchen team as a Warehouse Associate responsible for shipping and receiving. You will ensure orders are packed accurately, shipments are received safely, and the warehouse stays organized in a fast‑paced, freezer‑controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pack, prepare and ship orders including ice cream, dry supplies, ingredients and packaging.
• Receive shipments and operate electric and manual pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload and reorganize skids.
• Take inventory of shipped and received materials and store them properly.
• Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets and cardboard.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and dishwashing while maintaining workplace and food safety.

Required profile

• Ability to work for extended periods in a freezer environment.
• Capable of standing, walking and lifting up to 50+ lbs.
• Quick, efficient multitasker with strong communication skills.
• Self‑disciplined, able to work independently and follow directions.

Required skills

• Operation of electric pallet jacks.
• Operation of manual pallet jacks.
• Forklift operation (training provided).
