Warehouse Associate

About the role

Vytal Filtration Technologies is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Warehouse Associate to join its Operations team in Edmonton. The position involves order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory handling, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Strip and load trailers, pick and check orders using a forklift and automated pallet wrapper.
• Prepare products for shipping, label filters, and perform value‑added services.
• Process small parcel shipments through Purolator, UPS, FedEx, Dicom and coordinate on‑site pickups.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, operate motorized floor washer, and keep the area organized.
• Book trucks for shipments via email and provide backup support to team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lb and perform manual handling.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated team player with a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Valid forklift certification and experience with reach and counterbalance forklifts.
• Familiarity with courier shipping platforms (UPS, Purolator, FedEx, etc.).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
