About the role
The Infrastructure & Renewable Resources department is seeking a Visual Communications Design Co‑op/Intern to create a polished, cohesive presentation template system. You will design a full library of slide templates, implement them in PowerPoint, and organise the assets for consistent use across a $32 billion investment portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Audit existing presentation styles to spot inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.
- Design a comprehensive template library for internal and client‑facing decks, adhering to BCI brand guidelines.
- Build functional PowerPoint templates with locked master slides and style guides.
- Set up and maintain a central repository (e.g., SharePoint or Teams) with version control.
- Document usage guidelines and create quick‑start guides with examples for each template type.
Required profile
- Strong eye for clean layouts, typography, colour, hierarchy and spacing.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Interest in supporting a low‑carbon economy through infrastructure and renewable investments.
Required skills
- Advanced PowerPoint skills (master slides, custom layouts, style guides).
- Proficiency with at least one design tool such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator or InDesign.
- Familiarity with SharePoint or Teams for repository management.
