Virtual Dermatology Physician for Mole Mapping Review

About the role

Join TELUS Health Care Centres as a virtual dermatologist focused on reviewing high‑resolution mole‑mapping and dermoscopic images. This part‑time, remote contract role allows you to work approximately 10‑15 hours per week, providing expert image‑based assessments that support early detection of melanoma and other skin cancers.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret full‑body mole‑mapping and dermoscopic images captured with advanced imaging technology.
• Identify suspicious lesions, generate dermatologic reports, and provide recommendations to the referring practitioner.
• Support national clinical governance by contributing to service‑wide quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists when requested.
• Participate in continuous improvement of image‑review protocols and optional education or research activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with certification in Dermatology or Dermoscopy (e.g., PGDip).
• Valid medical licence in the province of practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in dermoscopy techniques and interpretation.
• Ability to work independently within a remote, collaborative medical team.

Required skills

• Dermoscopic image analysis.
• Familiarity with mole‑mapping systems such as FotoFinder or Vectra (asset).
