Vice President, Technology – Digital Transformation Leader

About the role

The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) is seeking a visionary Vice President, Technology to drive its digital transformation agenda. Reporting to the CEO and joining the Senior Management Team, you will shape technology strategy, modernize platforms, and enhance assessment integrity across the nation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with PEBC’s strategic vision.
• Lead modernization of digital platforms, enterprise architecture, and data infrastructure.
• Strengthen cybersecurity posture and data protection capabilities.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions, including AI, to improve candidate experience and operational efficiency.
• Oversee enterprise technology, digital products, infrastructure, and project delivery.
• Collaborate with regulators, educators, technology providers, and professional stakeholders nationwide.

Required profile

• Proven executive experience leading digital transformation in complex, highly trusted environments.
• Track record of aligning technology investments with business strategy and managing risk.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across a national healthcare ecosystem.
