Utility Foreman – Road Construction

About the role

Park Paving Ltd., a leading road construction contractor in Edmonton, is seeking an experienced Utility Foreman to lead its Utility Division. This full‑time, onsite position involves overseeing utility projects from start to finish while ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage utility projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Organize manpower, delegate tasks, and monitor production goals.
• Maintain quality workmanship according to client and project specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, testers, and internal teams, fostering positive relationships.
• Provide supervisors with advance notice of testing and confirm force‑account work with the Project Superintendent.
• Complete all required safety documentation, including daily meetings, inspections, and permits.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing crews on construction sites.
• Ability to work long hours (5‑6 days a week) and in adverse weather conditions.
• Physically fit for repetitive lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
