Utility Foreman

About the role

Park Paving Ltd., a leading road construction contractor in Edmonton, is seeking an experienced Utility Foreman for its Utility Division. This full‑time, on‑site role involves overseeing utility projects from start to finish while ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and organize crews to meet production goals and project timelines.
• Ensure all work complies with client specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, testers, and internal teams to maintain clear communication.
• Conduct daily safety meetings, inspections, and complete required documentation.
• Monitor and report testing results and obtain approvals before force‑account work.
• Operate necessary equipment and perform physical labor such as shoveling, raking, and handling materials up to 50 lb.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing construction crews.
• Ability to work long hours, including overtime and consecutive days.
• Physically fit for repetitive lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
