About the role
Rai Roadways Trucking Ltd is seeking a dedicated Truck Mechanic to join its service team in St. Andrews, Manitoba. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial transport trucks and trailer systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck, trailer, and automotive systems.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults, diagnose malfunctions, and verify motor operation.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services and conduct thorough system tests to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Estimate parts and labour costs for maintenance and repair jobs.
- Complete detailed reports documenting problems, work performed, and recommendations for future repairs.
