Truck Mechanic

About the role

Join a leading commercial vehicle dealer as a Truck Mechanic, responsible for keeping a fleet of transport trucks running safely and efficiently. You will work in a busy workshop environment, diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial truck systems.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Review work orders and ensure all tasks are completed to specification.
• Perform maintenance on automotive and truck‑trailer systems.
• Document repairs and maintain accurate service records.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience servicing commercial trucks.
• Ability to work day shifts in an onsite workshop.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical faults on heavy‑vehicle systems.
• Experience with adjusting, repairing, and replacing truck components.
