About the role
We are looking for a reliable Truck Driver to join Dream Big Transportation in Brampton. You will operate straight or articulated trucks, transporting goods safely while working as part of a two‑person team or convoy.
Key responsibilities
- Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Load and unload cargo, tarp loads and ensure cargo security.
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections, including checks of tires, lights, brakes and cold‑storage equipment.
- Conduct emergency roadside repairs and oversee vehicle condition.
- Communicate with central dispatch, recording cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Valid AZ class driver’s licence.
- Willingness to work various shifts (early morning, evening, night, day).
- No prior truck‑driving experience required – training will be provided.
