Truck Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable truck driver to operate flatbed trucks on international, long‑haul and local routes, ensuring safe and efficient transport of goods while minimizing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and adjust routes using GPS and computer systems to optimise fuel use.
• Load, secure, tarp and unload flatbed cargo, including hazardous and temperature‑controlled goods.
• Obtain special permits and required documentation for international shipments.
• Inspect vehicle condition – tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage equipment – and perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and record hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs and basic maintenance.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Valid commercial driver’s licence with endorsements for flatbed and hazardous materials.
• Experience on international or long‑haul routes is an asset.
