Truck Driver

About the role

BIRRING LOGISTICS is seeking a reliable truck driver to operate straight or articulated trucks, transport goods across various routes, and provide professional customer service. The role requires mountain‑driving expertise and the ability to handle both standard and refrigerated loads.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mountain driving and ensure safe transport of goods.
• Load and unload merchandise, including refrigerated and hazardous items.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as bill of lading, driver logbook, and trip reports.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of truck driving experience.
• Valid Class 1/A (AZ) licence with Air Brakes endorsement.
• Clear criminal record, driving record check, and drug test.

Required skills

• Operation of GPS and other navigation equipment.
• Manual transmission vehicle handling.
• Knowledge of accident/incident reporting and maintenance documentation.
