About the role
We are seeking a reliable truck driver to operate straight or articulated trucks, transporting goods across routes from Calgary. The position involves on‑the‑road work with morning shift options.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
- Tarp cargo and ensure safety and security of the load.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Class 1/1F/A (AZ) licence for semi‑trailer trucks.
- Experience is an asset.
- Ability to work morning shifts.
- Willingness to work on the road.
Required skills
- Knowledge of bill of lading documentation.
- Proficiency with driver logbook management.
- Ability to complete inspection reports (pre‑trip, en‑route, post‑trip).
