About the role
The Truck Dispatcher coordinates the movement of trucks and drivers to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations. This role involves monitoring workloads, handling emergency dispatches, and maintaining accurate records.
Key responsibilities
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules, work orders, and emergency situations.
- Maintain work records, logs, mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
- Monitor personnel workloads, locations, and organize warehouse and work areas.
- Provide customer service and advise vehicle operators of traffic issues.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in dispatching or related logistics roles is an asset.
