About the role
The Truck and Transport Service Technician will join Cavalcade Ford’s service team in Bracebridge, ON, providing hands‑on maintenance and repair for commercial trucks and trailers. This permanent, full‑time position offers a stable work environment with shift scheduling.
Key responsibilities
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck‑trailer systems.
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service.
- Test and adjust units to specifications.
Required profile
- Other trades certificate or diploma.
- 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work shift schedules.
- Knowledge of commercial transport truck and trailer systems.
- Capability to test and adjust equipment to manufacturer specifications.
