Transportation Logistics Coordinator

About the role

OTI Logistics is seeking a Transportation Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of goods and oversee daily operational logistics in its Brampton facility. The role involves coordinating shipments, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with trucking regulations while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Compile customer orders and instructions, organize tasks, and track work orders from initiation to completion.
• Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments and coordinate traffic flow of supplies.
• Maintain vehicle operator records, schedule assignments, and dispatch crews using GPS and tracking software.
• Arrange maintenance and repair work, ensure proper functioning of equipment, and keep detailed logs of mileage, fuel use, and expenses.
• Prepare and submit operational reports, progress updates, and performance metrics.
• Train staff on policies, procedures, and the use of dispatch and tracking systems.

Required profile

• College diploma or equivalent experience in transportation or logistics.
• Knowledge of highway trucking rules and regulations.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and a client‑focused attitude.
