Trainee Regulatory Reporting Accountant (Hybrid)

About the role

This is a fantastic entry‑level opportunity for recent graduates or school leavers with strong maths and analytical abilities. You will join a well‑regarded financial services firm, working three days in the Epsom office and two days from home, with a fully office‑based training period.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing quarterly and monthly COREP & FINREP regulatory returns for review.
• Help maintain and enhance regulatory reporting processes, software and Excel files to reflect the latest regulatory changes.
• Document procedures, assumptions and guidance related to regulatory reporting.
• Support month‑end management accounts preparation and Board reporting.
• Prepare reports for other departments and contribute to the Annual Report, Accounts and Corporation Tax Return.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or A‑Level/GCSE school leaver with an interest in AAT or ACCA qualifications.
• Willingness to learn, proactive attitude and basic understanding of bookkeeping.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
