About the role
Maxima Stone Ltd is seeking an experienced Tile Setter to join its construction team in Edmonton. The role involves preparing surfaces, installing various types of tiles, and ensuring high‑quality finishes on residential and commercial projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be tiled.
- Set tiles in place, apply pressure, and align them accurately.
- Pack grout into joints, remove excess, and ensure smooth finishes.
- Replace cracked or damaged tiles as needed.
- Build underbeds, install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
- Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
- Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to 5 years of tile‑setting experience.
- Physically demanding work; ability to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
- Own steel‑toed safety boots.
- Availability to work day shifts and weekends.
