Testing Services Office Assistant

About the role

The Testing Services Office Assistant provides permanent part‑time administrative support to the Testing Services Department at Lambton College. Working 24 hours per week, the role assists with inquiries, test scheduling, and technical support for accessibility tools.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to student and public inquiries regarding testing needs and accommodations.
• Administer and schedule tests, acting as scribe or reader and coordinating proctoring guidelines.
• Provide technical assistance with accessibility tools and assistive software.
• Maintain and update office operating procedures and testing support systems.
• Handle test booking applications and share test environment information with faculty.
• During peak periods, support Tutoring Services by answering general inquiries, booking appointments, and directing learners to academic resources.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of college policies and procedures related to testing services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Organizational skills to manage test schedules and documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accessibility tools and assistive software.

What we offer
