Terminal Operator – Fertilizer Terminal

About the role

We are looking for a Terminal Operator to join our Fertilizer Terminal in Hanley, Saskatchewan. The role involves hands‑on operation of terminal equipment to load and unload fertilizer products while supporting safe and efficient plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor terminal equipment for loading and unloading of fertilizer.
• Perform routine housekeeping of buildings, grounds, and work floors.
• Manage quality controls such as oiling dusty product and run conditioners.
• Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and PPE procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings, plant inspections, and on‑call rotations.
• Support shipping and receiving areas to prevent product contamination.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably with mobile equipment or agricultural operations.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work at heights up to 140 ft.
• Comfortable working in dusty environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Mobile equipment operation.
• Terminal equipment operation and basic mechanical maintenance.
• First aid certification (asset).
