About the role
The Temporary Works Technical Coordinator supports the design, documentation and implementation of temporary works for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project. Working under the Station & Facilities Technical Lead, the role ensures that all temporary structures such as scaffolding, formwork and shoring meet safety, regulatory and project requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate preparation, submission and review of temporary works design packages, including scaffolding, formwork, shoring and access structures.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, design criteria and project specifications.
- Liaise with design consultants, construction teams and subcontractors to secure timely approvals.
- Track and manage submissions, approvals and design changes using project management and document control systems.
- Review drawings, design calculations and technical documentation for completeness and compliance.
- Facilitate communication between engineering, construction and safety teams to ensure proper sequencing.
- Support site visits to assess feasibility and implementation of temporary works designs.
- Maintain accurate records of correspondence, approvals and inspections.
Required profile
- Experience in coordinating temporary works for large infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational and document‑control skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
