Telehealth Nurse Practitioner

About the role

Northstar Medical, which covers the patient journey from intake and triage through live consultations, secure messaging, e-prescribing, lab requisitions, medical imaging and follow-up care while complying with Ontario privacy standards (PHIPA, PIPEDA, CPSO), is looking for a motivated, patient-centred Nurse Practitioner. The position is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care through secure video and phone consultations.
• Maintain accurate, thorough records in the EMR, meeting CNO standards for virtual care and ensuring continuity across visits.
• Share feedback from daily practice and help improve tools used by clinicians and patients.

Required profile

• Current CNO registration as Nurse Practitioner – Extended Class (RN-EC), in good standing.
• Comfort with telehealth technology and remote patient interactions.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems.
• Preferred: prior telehealth or virtual care experience, primary care, family practice or walk-in clinic background, interest in how technology improves patient care and workflows, comfort in a growing early-stage healthcare organization, and bilingualism (English/French).
