Technology Workplace Services Intern (Winter 2027)

About the role

The Technology Workplace Services (TWS) Intern manages the company’s laptops, work phones and audio/visual equipment while installing and maintaining endpoint technologies. The role also supports staff relocations and serves as the first point of contact for all technology issues.

Key responsibilities

• Support desktop, laptop, and smartphone issues via phone or ticket system.
• Provide first‑line solutions for internal enterprise applications.
• Maintain audio/visual and teleconferencing equipment.
• Execute Move/Add/Change requests for employee relocations.
• Maintain, update, and categorize tickets within SLA, ensuring first‑call resolution above 90%.
• Perform remote troubleshooting and create automated processes for recurring issues.
• Set up and deploy IT equipment for new hires and guide users through onboarding.

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in computer networking, technical support, or related field.
• Experience in a customer‑service environment.
• Strong technical problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to follow internal IT procedures, corporate policies, and audit requirements.
• Knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, Microsoft 365, browsers, printers/scanners, Wi‑Fi, iOS devices, and general hardware.

Required skills

• Windows 11 and macOS troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 application support.
• ServiceNow, SysAid, or Atlassian ticketing platforms (ITIL‑based).
• Audio/visual and teleconferencing equipment maintenance.
• Wi‑Fi and network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Remote diagnostic techniques and hardware repair.
