Technology Specialist Co‑op – Winter 2027

About the role

Use your passion for technology and computer skills in a fast‑growing company where you can have an impact. BCI is seeking a Technology Specialist Co‑op for the Winter 2027 term (January‑April) to support users and assist with service‑desk improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support via ticketing system, in‑person visits, phone calls and remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on workstations, laptops and mobile devices.
• Assist with account management, password resets, permissions and access requests.
• Help manage software packaging, printer configurations and patch deployment.
• Shadow Service Desk Specialists to learn tools such as Active Directory, Intune, BitLocker, vSphere and PowerShell scripting.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently completed an IT‑related university or college program.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment.
• Strong communication skills to ask effective questions and set clear expectations.
