Technology Solutions Engineer Co-op – Winter 2027

About the role

The Investment Technology and Data & Analytics team is seeking four co‑op students to support software, data, and AI projects of low‑to‑medium complexity during the Winter 2027 term.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, design and build solutions under supervision.
• Develop and test software applications, debugging code with senior guidance.
• Create data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and visualisations using Power BI, Databricks, SQL and Python.
• Assist in AI engineering tasks, building agents and workflows with tools such as Claude, Genie and other department‑specific platforms.

Required profile

• Keen interest in investment technology, data and AI tools; self‑starter.
• Familiarity with major AI tools (Perplexity, Claude, Copilot) and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Team player with strong work ethic, initiative and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Professionalism and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic coding ability in SQL and Python.
• Experience using LLM‑based tools (e.g., Claude) for development and problem‑solving.
