Technical Support Specialist – Digital Screens

About the role

We are looking for a technically savvy, solutions‑oriented Technical Support Specialist to monitor, diagnose, and remotely resolve issues affecting our network of digital screens across the United States. The role works on an afternoon/evening shift and uses our CMS together with remote‑access tools to ensure seamless content deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain online connectivity of Trooh’s digital assets and act as primary IT support for field technicians.
• Remotely connect to devices using TeamViewer, Remote Desktop or SSH to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity problems.
• Document problem‑solving steps, decisions and outcomes, and analyse trends to prevent future incidents.
• Perform hands‑on desktop fixes, including software installation, upgrades, hardware setup, backups and system configuration.
• Apply diagnostic utilities, test new technologies and keep software/driver knowledge bases up to date.
• Support Windows Server environments, Linux operating systems and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent technical certifications (A+, Server+, MCTS, CCNA).
• 2‑3 years of troubleshooting or technical support experience, with strong networking knowledge.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments (3+ years) and basic SQL proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple calls and tasks simultaneously.
