Technical Recruiter

About the role

The Technical Recruiter will lead end‑to‑end hiring for Huawei Canada’s technology teams. This 12‑month contract position partners with hiring managers to attract, assess and secure top technical talent while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for niche technical roles, building a diverse candidate pipeline.
• Conduct talent mapping and market research to identify high‑potential candidates.
• Collaborate with hiring managers in a consultative manner to make timely hiring decisions.
• Coordinate with the Recruitment Coordinator on approval processes and maintain accurate candidate documentation.
• Represent Huawei Canada at career fairs, networking events, and co‑op recruitment cycles.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of sourcing and recruiting experience in the technology sector, preferably with exposure to AI.
• Proven ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Detail‑oriented and comfortable navigating multi‑step recruitment processes.
