About the role
Join BASF Agricultural Solutions for a 4‑month summer internship where you will support large‑scale agronomic trials, gain hands‑on experience with seeding, spraying and harvesting, and present your own research project to senior leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Organize and manage large‑scale agronomic trials (e.g., InVigor Demonstration Strip Trials).
- Conduct evaluations on seed treatments, herbicides and fungicides.
- Support customer tours and presentations.
- Operate ATVs and pull‑behind sprayers and transport equipment between trial sites.
- Complete and present a demand‑creation or research project.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in an agriculture science or related degree program and returning to studies after the internship.
- Enthusiastic about agronomy, strong communicator and safety‑focused.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the assigned region.
- Experience with farm equipment and sprayers is an asset.
Required skills
- Safe operation of ATVs.
- Safe operation of pull‑behind sprayers and other farm equipment.
- Agronomic trial design and execution.
- Crop evaluation techniques (plant vigor, stand counts).
