Team Lead Merchandiser (Kitchener Region)

About the role

This position leads a retail merchandising team that promotes high‑quality nut products across major grocery stores in the Kitchener region. You will recruit, train and coach independent contractors, ensuring brand standards and visual displays are consistently executed.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and manage a team of independent contractors to perform store visits and merchandising tasks.
• Maintain clean bulk sections, keep shelves stocked, and manage inventory and ordering based on sales data.
• Ensure planogram and pricing compliance, fill bulk sections, gondolas and seasonal displays.
• Build strong relationships with store management and staff to drive sales and secure additional displays.
• Generate and analyze sales reports, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in merchandising, consumer packaged goods or a related sales field.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for daily store visits.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and hold a team accountable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience using CRM or reporting tools.
