About the role

The Teaching Assistant will support the Pharmacology Research Project (PHAR 599 D2) during the Winter 2027 term. Responsibilities include organizing student presentations, managing presentation schedules, and preparing summary documentation. The role also involves grading presentations and manuscripts and assisting with data projections.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and schedule student presentations, ensuring each participant receives clear information about their presentation dates and venue.
• Prepare detailed report sheets that include student names, supervisors, email contacts, and the titles of their presentations.
• Assist with data projections and statistical analyses using standard computer tools to support research outcomes.
• Grade student presentations and manuscripts according to established criteria and compile summary tables of results.

Required profile

• Graduate student possessing a solid understanding of pharmacology concepts and research methods.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, suitable for academic settings.
• Basic proficiency with common computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
