About the role

The Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at McGill University seeks a graduate student to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the Honours Pharmacology Research Project (PHAR 598 D2) during the Winter 2027 term. The role supports student presentations and contributes to the smooth operation of the course.

Key responsibilities

  • Organize student presentation schedules and inform presenters of their dates.
  • Prepare projection materials and compile report sheets with student names, supervisors, emails, and presentation titles.
  • Grade presentations and assist in grading manuscripts.
  • Attend student presentations and create summary tables of outcomes.

Required profile

  • Graduate student with a solid understanding of pharmacology.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
