About the role
We are seeking two graduate‑level Teaching Assistants for the Winter 2027 offering of PHAR 301 – Drugs and Disease, offered by the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at McGill University. The role supports the course instructor by assisting students, managing online resources, and facilitating learning activities. The position runs from January 5 to April 30, 2027, for a total of 70 hours.
Key responsibilities
- Upload and organize course files on the myCourses platform.
- Provide individualized help to students struggling with the material, including small‑group tutorial sessions.
- Set up and run exam review sessions as needed.
- Respond to student email inquiries and monitor the myCourses discussion forum.
- Grade short‑answer examinations.
Required profile
- Graduate student who has successfully completed PHAR 301 with a very good grade or possesses strong background knowledge in pharmacology.
- Fluent command of English to support international students.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
