About the role

The Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at McGill University is looking for a graduate student to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the course “Epigenetic Drugs and Targets” (PHAR 565) during the Winter 2027 term. The TA will support the instructor and students through tutoring, exam administration, and online course management.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tutoring and help students understand course concepts.
  • Invigilate examinations and ensure exam integrity.
  • Mark exams, review results with students, and offer feedback.
  • Monitor and evaluate in‑class presentations and discussions.
  • Assist with the management of the myCourses website for the course.

Required profile

  • Graduate student who has successfully completed PHAR 562 and PHAR 563.
  • Strong command of English to support international students.
  • Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.

Required skills

  • Familiarity with the myCourses learning platform (asset).
  • Basic knowledge of epigenetics and epigenomics (asset).
