About the role
The Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at McGill University seeks a Teaching Assistant for the Winter 2027 offering of Drug Discovery and Development 2 (PHAR 504). The TA will support the instructor and students throughout the term, handling administrative and instructional tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain a list of students, their projects, and assignments.
- Assist with student presentations and manuscript readings.
- Prepare reports and evaluation sheets for the course.
- Update the course web page and maintain course notes.
Required profile
- Strong grasp of pharmacology and chemistry.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.7 over the last two years.
- Previously completed PHAR 503, 505, or 504 with at least an A‑‑ grade.
- Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
Required skills
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
