About the role
The Ingram School of Nursing at McGill University seeks a graduate Teaching Assistant for the Fall 2026 term to support the course NUR2 607 – Children’s Nursing. Working under the supervision of the course coordinators, the TA will help engage nursing students in legal, ethical, and professional practice topics.
Key responsibilities
- Review and prepare course content related to children’s nursing.
- Lead in‑person workshops and facilitate classroom discussions.
- Participate in student evaluation and grading activities.
- Implement the course plan as developed by the coordinators.
- Provide timely answers to student questions and assist with office hours.
Required profile
- Current Master’s or Doctoral student at McGill University.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Graduate teaching experience is preferred.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of nursing practice, especially legal and ethical issues.
- Effective communication and facilitation abilities.
