Tax Associate

About the role
Join a well‑established full‑service law firm as a Tax Associate within a thriving tax department. You will work on sophisticated tax files alongside experienced practitioners in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and collegial environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal and corporate tax planning services.
- Handle corporate matters such as reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions.
- Assist with estate and post‑mortem tax planning.
- Draft and negotiate tax‑related documents and agreements.
- Deliver analytical advice and support to clients.
Required profile
- Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar.
- 2‑6 years of relevant tax experience.
- Bilingual with strong English skills.
- Strong business acumen and client‑focused mindset.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Excellent drafting, negotiating, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
