Tax & Accounting Manager

About the role

Join a fast‑growing modern CPA firm as a core member of the team. You will own client relationships and deliver high‑quality accounting and tax services to small and mid‑sized businesses in a remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute compilation engagements for clients.
• Prepare and review Corporate (T2) and Personal (T1) tax returns.
• Provide practical tax planning and accounting advice to business owners.
• Own end‑to‑end client relationships, from onboarding to ongoing service.
• Partner with the team to improve workflows, systems, and overall efficiency.

Required profile

• Active Canadian CPA designation.
• 3+ years experience at a small or mid‑sized accounting firm.
• Strong experience with owner‑managed businesses or startups.
• Solid technical foundation in compilations, corporate tax, and personal tax.
• Clear communicator, organized, self‑starter, and detail‑oriented.
• Tech‑savvy, AI‑curious, and comfortable working independently in a high‑trust remote setting.
