Talent Acquisition Specialist – BC (Interior/Okanagan) – 12‑month Contract

About the role

Dynacare is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 12‑month contract to lead full‑cycle recruitment in British Columbia’s Interior/Okanagan region. You will focus on building sustainable pipelines for hard‑to‑fill healthcare positions and partner closely with hiring leaders and community stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop consultative relationships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and regional talent dynamics.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on talent acquisition, providing market insights and guidance on hiring decisions.
• Design and execute targeted sourcing strategies using ATS, social media, job boards, and local networks.
• Establish and nurture relationships with professional associations, educational institutions, and community organizations.
• Attract, engage, and secure high‑quality candidates while delivering an inclusive candidate experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle recruitment, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Proactive, consultative approach with a track record of navigating complex labour markets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Contract‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering results within a 12‑month timeframe.
