Systems Administrator – Projects

About the role

Join S3 as a Systems Administrator focused on project delivery. You will own the technical design, planning, and execution of IT projects for long‑term clients while enjoying full remote flexibility and occasional on‑site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document technical project plans based on client scope.
• Manage 5‑10 concurrent projects, organizing work autonomously.
• Analyze client environments, gather infrastructure data, and adapt plans to technical realities.
• Identify risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies.
• Deploy and configure firewalls, switches, Office 365, backups, anti‑spam, and other solutions.
• Implement IT solutions following industry standards and ensure quality continuity.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and track progress in internal systems.
• Transfer knowledge to support teams through clear communication of changes.

Required profile

• DEC/AEC in IT or equivalent education.
• 5–10 years of IT experience as a systems administrator, with at least 3 years leading projects.
• Strong French communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to travel to client sites in the Greater Montreal area.
• Experience with change management, risk analysis, and mitigation.
