System Administrator – Monitoring Platforms (SolarWinds, Splunk, Dynatrace)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to lead the operation and optimisation of our enterprise monitoring platforms. The role focuses on SolarWinds Orion, Splunk and Dynatrace, ensuring they deliver reliable visibility across our production infrastructure, cloud services and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, support and optimise SolarWinds Orion, Splunk and Dynatrace environments.
• Maintain platform availability, scalability and performance, performing upgrades, patches and configuration reviews.
• Develop and manage dashboards, alerts, custom polling and reporting to meet operational needs.
• Integrate monitoring tools with ServiceNow Incident and Event Management for automated incident creation and response workflows.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network and application teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure operations, monitoring services or observability platforms.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with enterprise monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven experience supporting production infrastructure, cloud services, networks, storage and enterprise applications.

Required skills

• SolarWinds Orion – NPM, SAM, alerting, custom polling, dashboards, reporting, infrastructure and network monitoring.
• Splunk – SPL queries, data onboarding, dashboards, reports, alerts, log analytics and event correlation.
• Dynatrace – OneAgent, Smartscape, distributed tracing, synthetic monitoring, real‑user monitoring and service flow analysis.
• ServiceNow integration for incident and event management.
• Automation using PowerShell, Python and REST APIs.
